Ongoing Prayer Needs

For graduates of Orphanage #4:

  • To be involved in Shelter and Haven families (as many kids as possible)
  • To believe in Jesus for their salvation
  • To grow in their faith and be a part of a local church
  • To work hard at their jobs and at their studies
  • To see a bright future and work hard to get there
  • To find the strength to beat old and destructive habits, including alcohol and tobacco use
  • To find healing for their deep sadness and anger through the Lord’s love
  • To willingly receive and trust in the love they receive from God and others
  • To make good decisions as they start their own families
  • Pray for our young adults in special circumstances: those raising children alone, and those in prison

For Orphanage #4:

  • That the trend would continue of many children being taken into Ukrainian families through adoption, foster care, and family-style children’s homes
  • That the trend of several international adoptions each year would continue
  • That orphanage staff would embrace methods of controlling children that do not involve physical and verbal abuse
  • That there would continue be a Christian presence visible in the orphanage, now in the form of volunteers from several different Zhytomyr churches
  • That Last Bell would have the resources to minister to orphanage kids year-round
  • That the children at the orphanage would not lose hope, but would see a future for themselves after graduation
  • That the children at the orphanage would understand and receive the gospel of Jesus Christ
  • That the children at the orphanage would understand that they are loved by their Heavenly Father and His representatives
  • That the children in older classes would see a family waiting for them in the Shelter and the Haven
